A practice of two worlds
Some patients walk into the consulting room. Others are seen where they live.
Dr Andrew Emms is a chiropractor with a Master's degree from the University of Johannesburg, based at Bay Life Centre in Lorraine, and one of the few South African practitioners also trained in animal chiropractic, listed with the International Veterinary Chiropractic Association.
The discipline is the same in both worlds: careful hands, a trained eye for how a body should move, and the patience to find what's stopping it. Whether the patient has two legs or four, the goal doesn't change: movement without pain.
